sharp pain on the outside of the knee?
I'm an athlete. A lot of love for the stairs, squats, lunges, etc. have not been running long. Recently started having pain in the knee, walking down stairs, bending knee. touch. location is on the outer side of the leg to the ball, but next, so DON "T think that this is not the ball. It probably feels like a tendon, ligament, common. pain and stiffness are worse in the morning. Ice helps. Registration today and felt better in the afternoon. work has attempted stabbing and strong light began within a few minutes. Any idea what could be? Something serious? I can not do anything to speed healing? anyone had prolotherapy?
Sounds like a jerk or a torn lateral ligament of the warranty knee. If particularly serious and / or does not respond to rest, ice, bracing / packaging, and ibuprofen … To see a doctor and get MRI. If a tear is large (or if you are injured meniscus), you may need arthroscopic knee surgery setting. Or, I hope it's just a strain and the rest, ice, ibuprofen, stretching and subsequent years to take care of her. Prolotherapy (debateably useful) is chronic pain, acute pain does not … and it would be a torn ligament + / – meniscus injuries. Hope this helps.
