Since I started using the elliptical at my gym I had pain in my knee back ONF … Why?

I'm just going for a 40 minutes 3-4 times a week and the resistance is not ridiculously high … it's just that I'm working my muscles to failure?

What causes pain? The pain is caused by moving the knee joint is not the place to go and continue to give rise to more pain, not less. In an elliptical machine the user must take a comfortable standing with a thorn in a neutral position (back straight). The knees, hips and ankles should be kept alignment. The weight should be distributed between the heels and toes. While gripping the handrail in a smooth controlled movement, the user must step forward or backward through a natural range of motion smoothly and continuously. Pain in the back of your knee is telling me to overextend knee in his step. Use a brace that limits the forward position of the tibia in its path.
