What are good exercises to strengthen the previous sports injury (knee, ankle, calf)?

The lesion was 8 years ago approximately, but no recurrent pain especially when the temperature drops. Would you recommend yoga and weight training? Any specific yoga pose weight or exercise? What to do when the pain returns, due to cold weather? Any specific weight training exercises? Yoga Asanas?

For me, yoga is the perfect start heating. Walking helps a lot and not run the marathon at an even more enjoyable. I also found a drink called Juice Common to be useful to me, containing the usual Glucosamine and some other things but the difference is that there is a horse pill to companies that have shut down:) and something to play like a wall or whatever and go up on your toes then back down. Do 3 sets of 10 each slowly build from there. I recommend the shop video tapes a lot of exercise to help with that, and the number one if you have access is swimming. That is a saving grace with zero weight bearing. I hope this helps you too. Good luck ~ ~

muscle pain above the knee when bending, but not running?

What is this pain about? I have an acute muscle pain in end of my thigh just above my knee. This pain is not behind him, but above it. This does not happen when I run, but sometimes when flexion my knee (bending sharply), as when my knees. It becomes very difficult to get a backup, but as soon as I do, my leg is fine. Sounds like you describe her patio, but some people have problems with their IT (iliotibial) band in that area as well. If your quad, it can often be caused by running hills. Since you are describing the pain as sharp, which might not be the worst idea to rest a couple of days and try to ice formation if the pain is sweet, or maybe make a heating pad if it has been so a couple of days. (But be careful with the heating pad and a joint inflammation that can make it hard.) Consumption of adequate protein for healing muscles can help things. Anyway, I'd give it a couple of days without push, pull, nothing to see how. If you then still call it "Strong", which may well want to consult a doctor to be on the safe side. If it seems to go away, but be careful and take it easy if / when it resumes implementation. There is often the pattern that if pain is what has happened is altered in any way, you should not run because of the likelihood of injury to another elsewhere. I personally do not push it with some "strong" if I felt during the race or not. Meanwhile, you can actually navigate the medical charts of the region to try to locate a ligament, tendon, etc. that may have gotten there dropped or partly broken, etc.
